Recently on twitter, I read some funny stories of people who once fell victims to some catfishes and shared their stories for the world to see; so I decided to share my thoughts on whom a catfish is. Anyway, here you go…

A catfish is someone who pretends to be someone they’re not using Facebook or other social media to create false identities, particularly to pursue deceptive online romances. Getting cat fished means you’ve been tricked into thinking someone you’ve met on the Internet is a real person, even though they are completely made up by someone else.

Some of this catfishes think its fun to play with their victims’ emotions, while some others could just innocently use someone else’s picture as a display profile on any of their social medias, then some thirsty idiots: D hits on them continually which then  leads to them becoming a catfish.

Google can be used for something called ‘Image Search’ to find their pictures.Does everyone know about Google? I mean, can anyone just use it or is it reserved for true detectives? When it’s time for the unveiling, the cat-fisher typically is almost always someone of the same sex as the person being Cat-fished. When the Cat-fisher is caught in their lie, they’re always just like, “Yeah, so… sorry?” and then they cop an attitude like someone else did something wrong.

Thanks again for stopping by, please do share and leave your comment as well. Oh! and by the way, below is a link to the trailer of a catfish movie you can as well check it out. 😀

Thanks for explaining that. I didn’t understand what the term “catfish” meant before. It sounds a little scary…

You are welcome ma’am. I’m happy you now know. It’s actually not too scary,i believe it’s something you can handle perfectly well without getting hurt.
